Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure seamless and exceptional guest services at guest house and cafeteria.
  • Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
  • Overseeing all the matters related to guest house accommodation & cafeteria administration in coordination with accommodation provider/third party.
  • Ensuring smooth operations of the facility and resolving all matters concerning guest house & cafeteria through the BITSoM Administration Head.
  • Responsible for developing and following a proper procedure for guest house and cafeteria and maintaining a proper record of it.
  • Attending to all emergencies including medical emergencies and overall well-being of each guest.
  • Closely monitoring the housekeeping, pest, hygiene, maintenance & cleanliness of each unit and maintaining the upkeep and over all ambiance of the guest house & cafeteria premises.
  • Inspection and supervision of rooms of each Unit to maintain proper vigil system.
  • Supervise food services in the guesthouses and cafeteria, ensuring the highest quality of meals and adherence to health and safety standards.
  • Responsible for smooth running of day-to-day activities for the guest house & cafeteria.
  • Plan and forecast expenses for the guesthouses and cafeteria, ensuring budget adherence.
  • Supervising all matters relating to the administration of the guest house & cafeteria.
  • Being responsible for security in the guest house and checking the credentials of all visitors.
  • To oversee and take a lead role in welcoming and ensuring that all new guests are greeted on or soon after their arrival.
  • Custodian and in-charge of all the guest house & cafeteria properties and accountable for inventories.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Graduate/Postgraduate degree hotel management is a must from a reputed University
  • Proven experience of at least 6 to 8 years in hospitality management, preferably in hotels, guesthouse or cafeteria settings.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food services and housekeeping.
  • Demonstrated supervisory skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong negotiation and effective interpersonal skills
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
  • Able to keep abreast of general industry knowledge and trends.
  • Proficient in handling and managing communication effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good command in Spoken and Written English language.
  • Resourceful and Collaborative
