Job Opportunity: Data Protection StrategistOur organization is seeking an experienced Data Protection Strategist to support the implementation and monitoring of our data protection frameworks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with data privacy regulations (such as DPDPA, SDPI rules) and demonstrate strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.Key Responsibilities:Policy Development: Design and enforce data protection policies and procedures in alignment with DPDPA and other applicable regulations.Risk Assessments: Conduct risk assessments for new projects, products, and third-party vendors.Record-Keeping and Consent Management: Maintain and update data processing records and consent management systems.Collaboration and Training: Coordinate with IT and business teams to ensure privacy by design and default principles are followed. Provide training and awareness sessions to staff.Compliance and Reporting: Monitor compliance with data subject rights requests (access, correction, erasure, etc.). Track regulatory updates and support ongoing improvement of the privacy program. Prepare reports and metrics for review.Requirements:We require a degree holder with at least 10 years of experience in implementation of data protection and information security, legal compliance, or audit.
