Role: Assistant Vice President – Transaction Advisory (M&A) Location: Mumbai (On-site) Experience: Chartered Accountant with 5+ years post-qualification experience in M&A and Transaction Advisory.Role OverviewThe AVP will lead execution of M&A deals and advisory services, including:Strategic financial insightsValuationsDue diligence coordinationCompliance and stakeholder communicationKey ResponsibilitiesSell-Side AdvisoryAdjust EBITDA for sustainabilityPrepare due diligence and IM dataResearch valuation multiples and investorsManage virtual data roomsBuild financial modelsSupport deal lifecycle and negotiationsCapital Markets & IPO AdvisoryManage IPO processes end-to-endCoordinate with bankers, legal, tax advisorsPrepare DRHP and restated financialsEnsure compliance and reporting standardsGuide promoters on IPO obligationsBuy-Side AdvisoryIdentify funding optionsResearch target companiesPrepare negotiation points and financial modelsConduct due diligenceStructure and negotiate agreementsAssess synergies and risksSkills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and financial modelingNegotiation and stakeholder managementProject management and multitaskingExcellent communicationDeep knowledge of transaction structures and complianceLeadership and mentoring abilityQualificationsChartered Accountant (CA)Minimum 5 years in M&A, transaction advisory, IPO processesConsultancy/advisory experience preferred
