Our organization seeks a highly skilled Cost Analyst professional to transition business unit level costing activities to our finance center of excellence. This involves responsibility for product costing in SAP for markets with centralized costing, as well as establishing processes for analysis of variances.Key accountabilities include serving as the single point contact for SAP product costing, independently handling entire product costing activities, and conducting reviews to ensure accuracy of standard costs. Operational analysis entails examining procurement transactions, identifying causes for price variance, and reviewing exceptions and abnormal variances.This role requires a certified or qualified accountant, university degree, and at least eight years of post-qualification work experience in a manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SAP product costing, end-to-end process knowledge, and a thorough understanding of the SAP CO module and process flow for product costing.We are seeking someone who can ensure accurate and timely release of standard costs, review and validate master data components, and analyze procurement transactions.The successful candidate must be able to communicate effectively with stakeholders, work independently or within a team environment, and prioritize multiple tasks.
