Business Development Manager Job OverviewDrive sales growth, build client relationships, and convert qualified interior project leads into revenue as a Business Development Manager. This role requires strong communication skills, follow-through, and the ability to coordinate with design and project teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.ResponsibilitiesLead Management & ConversionLead Management & Conversion Key Responsibilities:Handle all incoming leads from marketing, website, walk-ins, references, and social media.Contact leads within the required response time (30–60 minutes).Schedule site visits and client meetings.Understand client requirements and pass accurate briefs to the design team.Maintain and update CRM with lead status, follow-ups, and next actions.Sales & Revenue GrowthSales & Revenue Growth Key Responsibilities:Present proposals, quotations, 3D designs, and BOQs to clients.Handle negotiations and close deals within defined timelines.Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.Upsell and cross-sell modular furniture, decor, and add-on services.Client Relationship ManagementBuild strong client rapport throughout the sales cycle.Coordinate between clients, designers, and project managers during the pre-sales stage.Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the execution team.Collect feedback and support the marketing team with testimonials.Coordination With Internal TeamsWork closely with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.Design Team – layouts, mood boards, BOQsProject Team – timelines & execution readinessMarketing Team – lead quality feedbackReporting & AnalysisTrack key performance indicators to drive business growth.Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.Track lead-to-conversion ratios and sales pipeline.Share insights on market trends, competitor pricing, and client behavior.Requirements2–5 years of experience in Interior Design Sales, real estate sales, or premium customer-facing roles.Strong communication & negotiation skills.Ability to understand basic design concepts and BOQs.Confidence in handling high-value clients and premium projects.Proficiency in CRM tools, Excel, and WhatsApp follow-ups.Self-driven, target-oriented, and excellent in follow-through.Performance KPIsMonthly revenue generatedLead-to-conversion percentageNumber of site visits completedProposal-to-deal closure rateTime taken for lead conversionClient satisfaction and feedbackSalary & BenefitsCompetitive salary + attractive incentives based on sales performanceTravel allowanceOpportunity to grow into Sales Head/Business Head
