We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Data Architect. The ideal candidate will have experience in software engineering, preferably in Python, and possess expertise in coding agents for critical use.The selected individual will be responsible for developing custom connectors from scratch, showcasing their ability to extract schemas, understand table/column-level lineage from SQL, APIs, or system catalogs, and possess hands-on experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Snowflake), NoSQL databases, and/or BI Tools.Developed custom connectors/integrators from scratchStrong Software engineering fundamentals - Wrote production-quality code in a popular language like Java, Go, Rust, but preferably PythonAPI integration expertise - REST/GraphQL clients with retry logic, rate limiting, pagination, and connection poolingDatabase systems knowledge - Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases, and/or BI ToolsMetadata & lineage understanding - Can extract schemas, understands table/column-level lineage from SQL, APIs, or system catalogsIn addition to the core responsibilities, the bonus qualifications include experience in additional languages (Java, Rust, or Go), familiarity with data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or BI tools), and open-source contributions (DataHub, dbt, Airflow, or similar data tools).
