Job DescriptionAs a dedicated Contracts Administrator, you will oversee and manage subcontractor agreements, including contract tracking, abstracting, and documentation. You will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and outside legal counsel to ensure contracts are executed accurately, compliant with legal and company standards, and aligned with project requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a comprehensive database of all subcontractor contracts, ensuring all relevant details (terms, deadlines, deliverables) are up-to-date.Track contract milestones, renewals, and compliance requirements to ensure timely action.Create clear and concise contract abstracts summarizing key terms, obligations, and potential risks.Distribute abstracts to internal stakeholders to support informed decision-making.Draft and prepare subcontractor contracts using company templates with guidance from outside counsel.Ensure all contracts include the necessary terms, conditions, and amendments to reflect project-specific needs.Maintain organized and secure records of all contracts, amendments, and related correspondence.Ensure documentation is readily accessible for audits, compliance checks, and project reviews.Serve as the central point of contact for contract-related inquiries from internal teams and subcontractors.Work closely with project managers to align contracts with project scopes and deliverables.QualificationsRequired:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Real Estate or a related field.3–5 years of experience in contract administration, construction project management, or a similar role.Strong understanding of subcontractor agreements, construction contracts, and compliance requirements.Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.Preferred:Familiarity with construction industry standards, regulations, and practices.Certification in contract management (e.g., Certified Professional Contracts Manager - CPCM).Key CompetenciesThe ideal candidate should possess:Attention to detail: ensures all contracts are accurate, complete, and compliant.Time management: manages multiple contracts and deadlines efficiently.Legal and regulatory awareness: understands contractual obligations and industry regulations.Collaboration: works effectively with legal counsel, subcontractors, and internal teams.
