Virtual Medical Office Assistant Job DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Virtual Medical Office Assistant to provide administrative and clinical support to our healthcare providers.Key Responsibilities:Manage patient data in electronic health record (EHR) systems, particularly Point Click Care.Coordinate schedules, appointments, and follow-ups for patients.Prepare and update provider calendars and invoices.Order lab tests and medication refills as directed by providers.Compile reports, trackers, and dashboards using Microsoft Excel and Adobe PDF.Prepare credentialing packets for providers and facilities.Review and distribute incoming faxes with accurate documentation.Organize and respond to shared email inboxes in a timely manner.Monitor and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and workflows.Communicate with providers to confirm updates and follow-ups.Identify and prioritize preventive care needs through analysis and updating patient lists.Upload, scan, and organize documents into EHR and other applications.Support physicians and facilities with additional administrative tasks.Ensure strict compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
