Student Assessor & Support SpecialistWe are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Student Assessor & Support Specialist to join our team remotely. You will play a vital role in supporting learners across our Level 5 and Level 7 programmes, ensuring they receive high-quality assessment, guidance, and academic support throughout their studies.About the RoleAssess and mark student assignments in line with Level 5 and Level 7 academic standards.Provide clear, constructive, and supportive written feedback on student submissions.Offer ongoing academic support, proactively checking in with students to monitor progress and address concerns.Maintain accurate records of student marks, progress, feedback, and interactions.Key ResponsibilitiesTo assess and mark student assignments in line with Level 5 and Level 7 academic standards.To provide clear, constructive, and supportive written feedback on student submissions.To offer ongoing academic support, proactively checking in with students to monitor progress and address concerns.To maintain accurate records of student marks, progress, feedback, and interactions.To ensure all assessments and feedback align with course outcomes and academic requirements.To work collaboratively with the wider education team to enhance the overall student learning experience.To manage workload efficiently to ensure timely turnaround for marking and student communication.To issue CPD certificates to eligible students.Essential RequirementsA minimum of a Master's degree in one of the following (or closely related fields): Economics, Financial Trading, Finance, or equivalent qualification.Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, and supportive academic feedback.Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.High attention to detail and commitment to academic quality.Desirable / AdvantageousPhD or advanced academic qualification in a relevant discipline.Practical trading experience.Previous experience in assessing or marking academic work, providing academic support or tutoring, or working with professional or higher-education programmes at Level 5 and/or Level 7.This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and have excellent communication skills.
