Company Description Aadhira Garments Pvt Ltd is a kids' apparel manufacturing company based in Kolkata, with four in-house brands. With over 35 years of experience in kids' apparel, including our 25-year-old in-house brands, we cater to the Pan-India market and also export to select countries. We manufacture apparel for infants up to age 16, categorized by age group and gender across our four brands. We are now seeking a new resource who can understand our ethos and specialty, and bring their expertise to create designs. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Kolkata (Shyambazr area)for a Fashion Designer specializing in kids’ apparel at Aadhira Garments Pvt Ltd (Annie brand). The Fashion Designer will be responsible for designing creative and trend-aligned apparel collections, selecting appropriate textiles, and incorporating unique embroidery to develop innovative designs. Responsibilities include creating design concepts, ensuring proper fit, and collaborating with other team members to execute designs from concept to production. Attention to detail and a passion for children's fashion wear are essential. Qualifications Proven expertise in Fashion Design, with creative flair for kids’ apparel Experience designer who has handled multiple fabrics like SInker, Looper, Imported fabrics etc Experience with Textiles and Embroidery to create unique and high-quality designs Strong knowledge of Fitting and garment construction Attention to detail, strong sense of aesthetics, and a passion for children's fashion Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field is preferred Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site environment Previous experience in designing kids apparel is advantageous Compensation- As per industry standards based on past experience.
