We are seeking an experienced Cloud Database Administrator to join our team.The Cloud Database Administrator will be responsible for managing the lifecycle of databases across multiple platforms, including SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. This includes:Database AdministrationInstallation and ConfigurationDeployment and MaintenancePerformance Tuning and OptimizationSecurity and ComplianceThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with experience working with cloud-based databases. They should also possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.Key Responsibilities:Administering databases with 3-6 years of experience in SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQLExperience with virtualization, including Microsoft Azure Cloud or Amazon Web ServicesBasic knowledge of Windows operating system and database interactionsDatabase scripting skills and ability to read and analyze Transact-SQLAutomating DBA tasks using PowerShell or programming languagesTroubleshooting slow-running queries, optimizing indexes, analyzing execution plans, and improving database performance at scaleAutomating backup scheduling and test restore proceduresStrong understanding of database security models, encryption, and auditing practicesDesigning, configuring, and testing database standard and high availability models
