Production Planning Job DescriptionThis role involves overseeing production planning for multiple sites and locations. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in product planning, specifically with SAP HANA.Key Responsibilities:End-to-End Demand and Supply Planning: Ensure accurate forecasting and inventory management to meet customer demands.Long-Range Planning: Develop detailed plans for up to 5 years to align with business goals and objectives.Short-Range Planning: Create short-term plans (up to 6 months) to address immediate needs and challenges.Budgeting: Establish and manage budgets for intermediate and API batches to be manufactured throughout the year.Clean Room/Intermediate Area Occupancy: Optimize resource allocation to ensure efficient use of facilities.Production Plan vs Actual Tracking: Monitor and analyze production performance to identify areas for improvement.Distribution Plan: Develop strategies to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.Commitments: Establish and maintain commitments with customers and stakeholders for the next 6 months on a product/SKU level.ATP/Commitments: Manage and optimize stock levels to meet customer demands and minimize overstocking or understocking.Risk Management Planning: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure smooth production operations.Forecast Accuracy: Analyze and improve forecast accuracy to inform business decisions.Inventory Planning: Develop strategies to optimize inventory levels and reduce waste.Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance, GDSO, quality, and production teams to achieve business objectives.Communication: Effectively communicate with stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and decision-making.
