The successful candidate will provide programming support across various projects, clients, and therapeutic areas.Maintaining large databasesGenerating reports to enable analysts to explore real-world healthcare data assetsImplementing complex logic using SAS and SQLThe ideal candidate will be comfortable with creating complex analysis datasets derived from various data sources, carefully evaluating outliers and errors.Prior experience building patient cohorts and evaluating patient healthcare events in large databases, as well as using observational research methods such as epidemiology and statistical methods, is strongly desired.Experience in rare diseases is a plus, and working with real-world healthcare claims database is essential.Proficient R and SQL programming skills, expertise in Oncology databases such as Flatiron and COTA, and a good understanding of Oncology-specific analyses are highly valued.A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a minimum four years of SAS statistical programming experience, database programming using SQL, and experience with advanced statistical methods are required.A Master's degree in Epidemiology, Biostatistics, Computer Science, or a related field, training or experience using the OMOP Common Data Model, and pharmaceutical industry experience are highly desirable.
