Backend Engineering OpportunityWe are seeking a skilled engineer to design, build, and optimize backend services that power our platform.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop scalable backend services using Python (FastAPI primarily; Flask/Django as needed).Implement data models and persistence layers using Pydantic and Beanie with MongoDB.Build and maintain event-driven microservices leveraging Apache Kafka for messaging and streaming.Develop containerized applications using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes (Helm for packaging).Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, DevOps, product) to design service contracts, APIs, and integration workflows.Ensure reliability, observability, and performance through Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk dashboards/logs.Write comprehensive unit and integration tests using Pytest or other Python testing frameworks.Contribute to continuous integration and deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar).Participate in architectural discussions, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and system-wide improvements.Requirements:Proficiency in Python, microservices, and event-driven architectures is required.
