Key roles and responsibilities include:Cyber Security EngineerJob Description:The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning, implementation and management of security systems to safeguard company networks, applications and data.This role involves identifying potential vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents and ensuring compliance with established security best practices and regulatory standards.Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls and security protocols is essential.Hands-on experience with SIEM tools such as Splunk, QRadar and Azure Sentinel is highly desirable.A strong understanding of threat modeling, vulnerability scanning and incident response is also required.Required Skills & Qualifications:A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as cyber security, computer science or IT.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash and PowerShell is an advantage.Experience with cloud security platforms including AWS, Azure and GCP is highly beneficial.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also required.Key Responsibilities:Designing, deploying and managing cybersecurity technologies.Identifying vulnerabilities and developing strategies to mitigate risks.Leading incident response efforts and coordinating with IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities.Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures and standards.Managing identity and access management tools and enforcing least-privilege access controls.Benefits:Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and collaborative work environment.A competitive salary and benefits package.
