To explore more about Egis, please visit Egis – Creating a sustainable future (egis-) Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BIM Coordinator specializing in electrical systems to join our team in Bengaluru, India. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for electrical systems in construction and engineering projects.Develop and maintain BIM models for electrical systems using software such as Revit and AutoCAD MEPCoordinate with project teams to ensure accurate integration of electrical systems within the overall BIM modelAnalyze and resolve conflicts between electrical and other building systems in the BIM environmentCreate and manage BIM content libraries for electrical componentsDevelop and implement BIM standards and best practices for electrical systemsCollaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to optimize electrical design and installation processesGenerate reports and documentation to support project planning and decision-makingProvide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and processes for electrical systemsEnsure compliance with relevant electrical codes and standards throughout the BIM processParticipate in project meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field5+ years of experience in BIM coordination, preferably with a focus on electrical systemsProficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD MEPStrong knowledge of electrical systems design and construction processesBIM certification, such as Autodesk Certified Professional, is preferredExcellent understanding of electrical codes and standardsDemonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects and communicate effectively with multidisciplinary teamsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent time management and organizational abilitiesFamiliarity with construction processes and project management principlesAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlinesStrong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
