We are looking for a Principal Quality Assurance engineer with insurance domain knowledge. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, automate, and execute comprehensive test plans, ensuring the product's functionality, and reliability. You will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test frameworks to increase test efficiency and coverage in a continuous delivery environment.
As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.
Opportunity
You will be responsible for applying your extensive hands-on knowledge of selenium and java to develop and implement test plans and test cases based on the requirements, and then designs, creates and maintains the automation scripts.
Qualifications
- Any Computer Science based graduation.
- 10+ years in software development
- Strong working experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and other programming languages
- Strong experience in Insurance domain.
- Experience / knowledge in automated testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber
- Familiarity of version control systems
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
Ideal Candidate
- Good to be from Insurance domain.
- Strong working experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and other programming languages
- Experience / knowledge in automated testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, and Cucumber
- Experience identifying common functionalities and creating function in automation is required
- Experience setting test data for automation scripts
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Aspire to learn new tools as per the project need
- Exposure to Agile methodologies
- Sound knowledge of facilitating continuous integration, and continuous delivery using Jenkins.
Responsibilities :-
- Understanding the requirements.
- Establishing the test automation process,
- Participating in evaluating and planning the automation roadmap
- Maintaining and updating Selenium WebDriver scripts,
- Designing, developing, and implementing a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver
- Create, design, and maintain automated test suites via Selenium WebDriver/cucumber
- Develop Test Automation Approach applying Modern test automation techniques.
- Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers to ensure high-quality software releases.
- Analyze user requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Write clear and concise test cases and scripts.
- Execute, assess, and report test results for manual and automated test cases.
- Detect and analyze software flaws and engage with developers to find solutions.
- Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies.
- Schedule Automation Regression
- Troubleshoot issues in Automation scripts.
- Identify and raise defect identified through automation execution.
- Regular update Automation Suite
- Designing Test Automation solutions which are maintainable, extensible, modular & follow good industry practices (SOLID, design patterns etc. if/where needed), so that a project or program team can pickup & run with implementing it
- Creating and maintaining automation frameworks, TA solutions or other shared formats which can be used by all/many projects & programs with TA across products/teams.
- Setting up & maintaining knowledge sharing, communities of practice, center of excellence, code pairing & similar to bring TA engineers together + increase their skillset across the team
- Having TA expertise enough to be placed into any problematic, slow performing TA solution to identify and solve issues - with code, vendor alignment, testability issues, requirement issues, environment or data issues etc.
- Beefing up missing documentation, training material, mission statement, vision, governance etc. around TA company-wide
- Sometimes being a go-to person for TA troubleshooting + support for projects when needed
- Identifying the best-fit languages, TA frameworks, TA tools, data input and output methods/types for a project or program TA solution
- Setup & overseeing of any company-wide shared TA team
- Sometimes CV scanning & interviewing new TA members
