Principal Quality Assurance Engineer

As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.
OpportunityYou will be responsible for applying your
extensive hands-on knowledge of selenium and java
to develop and implement test plans and test cases based on the requirements, and then designs, creates and maintains the automation scripts.
QualificationsAny Computer Science based graduation.10+ years in software developmentStrong working experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and other programming languagesStrong experience in Insurance domain.Experience / knowledge in automated testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, and CucumberFamiliarity of version control systemsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills
Ideal CandidateGood to be from Insurance domain.Strong working experience in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and other programming languagesExperience / knowledge in automated testing tools like TestNG, JUnit, and CucumberExperience identifying common functionalities and creating function in automation is requiredExperience setting test data for automation scriptsStrong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skillsAspire to learn new tools as per the project needExposure to Agile methodologiesSound knowledge of facilitating continuous integration, and continuous delivery using Jenkins.
Responsibilities :-Understanding the requirements.Establishing the test automation process,Participating in evaluating and planning the automation roadmapMaintaining and updating Selenium WebDriver scripts,Designing, developing, and implementing a scalable test automation framework and strategy using Selenium WebDriver Create, design, and maintain automated test suites via Selenium WebDriver/cucumberDevelop Test Automation Approach applying Modern test automation techniques.Collaborate with software developers, quality assurance engineers, and project managers to ensure high-quality software releases.Analyze user requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.Write clear and concise test cases and scripts.Execute, assess, and report test results for manual and automated test cases.Detect and analyze software flaws and engage with developers to find solutions.Stay up to date with emerging testing tools, trends, and methodologies.Schedule Automation RegressionTroubleshoot issues in Automation scripts.Identify and raise defect identified through automation execution.Regular update Automation SuiteDesigning Test Automation solutions which are maintainable, extensible, modular & follow good industry practices (SOLID, design patterns etc. if/where needed), so that a project or program team can pickup & run with implementing itCreating and maintaining automation frameworks, TA solutions or other shared formats which can be used by all/many projects & programs with TA across products/teams.Setting up & maintaining knowledge sharing, communities of practice, center of excellence, code pairing & similar to bring TA engineers together + increase their skillset across the teamHaving TA expertise enough to be placed into any problematic, slow performing TA solution to identify and solve issues - with code, vendor alignment, testability issues, requirement issues, environment or data issues etc.Beefing up missing documentation, training material, mission statement, vision, governance etc. around TA company-wideSometimes being a go-to person for TA troubleshooting + support for projects when neededIdentifying the best-fit languages, TA frameworks, TA tools, data input and output methods/types for a project or program TA solutionSetup & overseeing of any company-wide shared TA teamSometimes CV scanning & interviewing new TA members
