Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Integration Specialist to design and develop integration solutions using HL7, FHIR, DICOM and REST APIs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with multiple healthcare and backend systems, as well as expertise in data mapping, transformation and validation.The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining integrations with EHR, LIS, PACS and other clinical / operational systems. They will also implement and configure integration engines and middleware, ensuring data accuracy, compliance and security of patient data.This role requires strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate system design, trade-offs and project status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Required Skills and Qualifications3–8 years of experience in backend engineering or integration-focused roles.Strong programming skills in at least one language (preferably Node.js) and solid understanding of data structures and algorithms.Hands-on experience building or maintaining APIs, microservices or integration workflows using REST, webhooks, message queues, or integration engines.Strong understanding of data formats and transformation (JSON, XML, CSV, mappings, validation, error handling).Experience working in a cloud environment (preferably AWS or GCP; Azure is also considered) for deploying and operating integrations.Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate system design, trade-offs and project status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
