Power Systems Application DeveloperThis position is responsible for designing, developing and implementing advanced Power Systems applications. The successful candidate will work with Electric Utilities, ISOs (Independent System Operators) and Transmission System Operators to deliver software solutions that meet corporate project/product commitments.Key Responsibilities:Develop functional software specifications, design, code, test, integrate, tune and deliver Power Systems applications.Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop solutions that meet those needs.Analyze complex data sets to identify trends and patterns and make recommendations based on findings.Maintain existing systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.Participate in the development of technical documentation and provide training to users as needed.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.3+ years of experience in customizing and delivering Grid applications - EMS, ADMS preferably e-terra AEMS – Reliance/ ADMS.Minimum 5 years of experience working on SQL, DBMS, Data Structure, Data Integrity including writing complex SQL Queries, Query optimization, performance tuning for Troubleshooting and Data Modelling.Minimum 5 years of experience in Performance and Troubleshooting, DB Designing & Implementation & Core concepts.Experience with C++, Java or other related languages.3 years of experience with both LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.We are committed to providing a work environment that is free from discrimination and harassment.
