Software Quality Assurance Specialist

Job Title: Software Quality Assurance SpecialistJoin our organization as a Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Engineer to ensure the highest quality standards in our products.As a key member of our development team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify defects, prevent quality issues, and maintain compliance with organizational and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing life cycle (STLC) processes, manual testing skills, and experience with automation tools.Responsibilities:Quality Assurance (QA):Develop, review, and execute test cases using test strategies and best practices.Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing to ensure product quality.Identify, document, and track defects using defect tracking tools like Jira.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and ensure testability.Participate in Agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives).Quality Control (QC):Inspect and verify product quality against defined standards and specifications.Conduct root-cause analysis (RCA) for defects to resolve them promptly.Monitor production/implementation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.Maintain quality documentation, reports, and audit records to track progress and improvements.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.4+ years of experience in QA/QC roles.Certifications like ISTQB are a plus.We offer:A dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and professional development.
