We at HappiDost.ai are building a smarter and handsfree phone ecosystem of the future using AI native OS and smart headphone with cameras - like Jarvis. We invite you to join our HappiDost gang as a Founding Lead Engineer specializing in few or more Android Device Drivers (Display, Camera, Fingerprint, WiFi, BT, LTE etc etc) that makes a Phone a Phone. Your job will be to bring the sign of life on a bare metal hardware prototype. This is a full-time & hybrid job but based in Bengaluru only. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Android device drivers and ensuring smooth integration with mobile applications. Your code must be clean, memory & CPU efficient and mem leak free. You must be able to use all the tools available to debug the hardware. Your day-to-day tasks will include collaborating with cross-functional teams, troubleshooting complex performance issues, and enhancing system functionalities. You will also play a critical role in establishing and leading engineering best practices as part of the founding team.Some basic criterias.Embedded Systems expert.Andrloid Device drivers and kernel expert.Rock solid experience with Android device drivers and passing all the certification tests (CTS).BTECH in CSE, ECEStrong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to lead and mentor team members.Experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
