Company DescriptionWe at HappiDost.ai are building a smarter and handsfree phone ecosystem of the future using AI native OS and smart headphone with cameras. This is not yet another app in an app store, its an store in itself.Role DescriptionWe are looking for a Founding Lead Engineer - Backend to join our team full-time in Bengaluru. In this pivotal role, you will design and build the backend for our core platform, architect scalable systems, and ensure seamless performance and reliability. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate solutions, write clean and efficient code, and lead design discussions to drive technical decisions. Additionally, you'll play a critical role in mentoring other junior team members and shaping the engineering roadmap.QualificationsProven expertise in Backend Development, including experience with server-side languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Node.js) and in building RESTful APIs.A master of DataStructures and algorithmsProficiency in Database Management and integration, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).Experience in System Architecture and designing scalable, maintainable backend systems.Build a uncompromisable security layer to protect data from unwanted hackers.Knowledge of DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.Strong understanding of Agile Development Methodologies and team collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Git, GitHub pipelines & actions).Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills.Ability to lead and mentor engineering teams with a passion for fostering growth and innovation.Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
