Role Overview We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Senior Communications professional to drive our public relations, thought leadership, and storytelling initiatives. The role involves driving national awareness about global universities coming to India and amplifying university-level PR for key milestones, student recruitment, and thought leadership. The ideal candidate has strong media relationships, experience managing agencies, and a proven track record in building brand visibility through integrated earned, owned, and influencer-led campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Communications Execute the Eruditus (India Campus Business) PR playbook and shape its narrative as the enabler of global higher education in India. Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with business goals and brand positioning. Craft compelling messaging for leadership, media, and institutional partners. Media & Thought Leadership Build and maintain relationships with top-tier national and business media (education, policy, and economic beats). Drive consistent earned media coverage through interviews, features, and op-eds. Support leadership visibility through thought pieces, bylines, and event participation. University-Level PR Manage PR for our partner universities - program announcements, campus openings, recruitment campaigns, and milestones. Collaborate with university communications teams for joint storytelling and localized outreach. Campaign & Event Communications Lead communication efforts for category campaigns (“Global Education in India”), student fairs, and higher education panels. Coordinate media coverage for key events and leadership visits. Influencer & Digital Integration Identify and collaborate with education influencers, counsellors, and content creators to build credibility. Align with digital marketing teams to integrate PR with paid storytelling. Measurement & Optimization Track media impact, share of voice, engagement, and sentiment. Provide regular reports and insights for strategy refinement. Requirements 8–10 years of experience in public relations, strategic communications, or corporate affairs. Experience in education, edtech, or impact-led sectors preferred. Established media relationships across national, business, and education outlets. Strong writing, storytelling, and message development skills. Ability to manage multiple partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
