Job Title: Fine Jewelry CAD SpecialistAs a seasoned expert in fine jewelry computer-aided design (CAD), you will be responsible for crafting intricate 3D models of exquisite pieces, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate creative concepts into functional CAD drawings, refining existing designs based on client or production requirements, ensuring CAD files are optimized for computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) and 3D printing processes, and staying current with the latest trends, techniques, and tools in the industry.Key Responsibilities:Develop detailed 3D CAD models for fine jewelry, prioritizing accuracy and manufacturability.Collaborate with designers and production teams to transform creative visions into workable CAD drawings.Refine and enhance existing designs in accordance with client or production specifications.Guarantee CAD files are optimized for CAM and 3D printing processes.Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, CAD techniques, and tools.Requirements:Demonstrated experience as a CAD Specialist in the fine jewelry industry.Strong proficiency in Matrix (preferred) or Rhino software.Fundamental understanding of fine jewelry manufacturing processes (casting, stone setting, finishing).Attention to detail, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.Desirable Qualifications:Knowledge of additional design/rendering tools (e.g., ZBrush, KeyShot, Blender).Experience in custom fine jewelry projects and rapid prototyping.Strong portfolio showcasing CAD work.
