In addition to our core jewelry business, we also manage the digital marketing and SEO operations for Hotel Taz Kamar Inn and other hospitality properties in Chennai, India. Our team focuses on driving online visibility, boosting brand awareness, and improving search performance across both the jewelry and hospitality sectors.

Role Description

We are seeking a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Specialist for a full-time on-site role based in Chennai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective SEO strategies for both Kamar Silver's e-commerce platforms and Hotel Taz Kamar Inn's websites.

This role involves performing keyword research, conducting SEO audits, optimizing on-page and technical SEO elements, and executing link-building campaigns. The candidate will also analyze web performance data, track search rankings, and create strategies to enhance organic visibility across global and local markets.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth keyword research for both jewelry e-commerce and hospitality websites.

Perform technical and on-page SEO audits to identify and fix performance issues.

Optimize website structure, metadata, and content for improved visibility.

Develop and implement link-building and outreach campaigns.

Analyze web traffic and ranking data using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and Ahrefs.

Create SEO reports and provide actionable insights to improve organic performance.

Stay current with the latest SEO trends, Google algorithm updates, and competitor activities.

Collaborate with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented across all digital properties.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Keyword Research, SEO Audits, and Link Building.

Strong understanding of On-Page SEO, Technical SEO, and Content Optimization.

Familiarity with Web Analytics tools (Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.).

Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Previous experience in e-commerce SEO and/or hospitality SEO is highly advantageous.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹22, ₹25,000.00 per month
