Senior Automation Software Engineer

Automation Engineers play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.This position requires working within the AWST timezone, from 7 AM to 3:30 PM IST. It demands hands-on experience with the Cypress framework.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of test design patterns and automation best practices (Page Object Model, data-driven tests, etc.). They should also possess experience in API testing using tools like Postman, as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.We are seeking a skilled engineer to join our team and work alongside our Australian engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for web and mobile applications. They will collaborate closely with QA, development, and DevOps teams to ensure delivery of high-quality software at speed.Key Responsibilities:Architect, implement, and maintain automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing.Develop and extend test frameworks in JavaScript / TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing.Analyse test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.Write clear, maintainable, and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.Continuously improve test coverage, performance, and reliability.Mentor other QA engineers on automation tools and techniques.Our approach to Flexible WorkingWe value and respect differences and are committed to building an inclusive culture.
