Backend Developer PositionJob Summary:As a skilled Backend Developer, you will play a key role in designing and developing high-quality backend services using Java and Spring Boot. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions that meet business requirements.Key Responsibilities:Technical Development:Design and develop efficient and scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.Write clean, modular, and testable code adhering to industry best practices.Participate in technical design discussions and peer reviews to ensure high-quality solutions.Collaborate with the team to evolve our microservices architecture.Code Quality & Testing:Implement and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and Postman.Contribute to CI/CD pipelines to ensure code readiness for production deployment.Collaborate with QA engineers to achieve comprehensive functional and end-to-end test coverage.Collaboration & Agile Execution:Work closely with product managers, senior engineers, and designers to translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables.Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos.Provide accurate effort estimates and deliver on sprint commitments.Learning & Tooling:Leverage modern tools, such as Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI utilities, to streamline development workflows and enhance productivity.Continuously explore new technologies and propose improvements to systems or processes.Required Skills and Qualifications:Must-Have Skills:At least 5 years of experience in backend development, primarily using Java and Spring Boot.Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and design principles.Experience with version control (Git), build tools (e.g., Maven/Gradle), and CI/CD workflows.Exposure to Agile development and testing frameworks like JUnit or Postman.Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.Preferred Qualifications:Additional education, certifications, or relevant experience may be advantageous.
