Equipment Maintenance Supervisor JobThe purpose of this position is to oversee the daily operations of equipment maintenance, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production processes.BREAKDOWN MAINTENANCE: Responsible for multiple locations across the country.REPAIR & MAINTENANCE: Responsible for multiple locations across the country.SUPERVISION: Building a program of all heating and A/C and Refrigeration based on daily schedules.EQUIPMENT INSPECTION AND ASSESSMENT: Conducting regular inspections of supplies, tools, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues.EMERGENCY RESPONSE: Responding quickly to breakdowns or unexpected equipment failures, minimizing downtime.DIAGNOSIS: Identifying root causes of equipment failures and breakdowns by working with maintenance teams and using diagnostic tools.COORDINATION: Coordinating with maintenance technicians, mechanics, and engineers to ensure prompt repair and maintenance activities.RESOURCE ALLOCATION: Allocating resources, such as personnel, tools, and spare parts, to address breakdowns efficiently.SCHEDULING: Developing and maintaining a maintenance schedule to prevent future breakdowns through routine maintenance activities and predictive maintenance.COST MANAGEMENT: Monitoring the budget allocated for equipment maintenance, ensuring effective use.VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Working with external vendors and suppliers to source replacement parts and services as needed for repairs.DOCUMENTATION: Maintaining detailed records of equipment breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance activities for future reference and analysis.REPORTING: Providing regular reports to management on equipment statistics, downtime, and measures taken to address them.SAFETY COMPLIANCE: Ensuring that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards to protect the well-being of maintenance staff and other employees.TRAINING: Developing training programs for maintenance personnel to enhance their skills in diagnosing and repairing equipment.
