The incumbent will be responsible for business development, product promotion, and sales of pre-packaged software, electronic hardware, and allied services within the electric power sector. The role also involves maintaining and strengthening customer relationships to ensure consistent business growth.Key Responsibilities:- Promote and sell software products, hardware solutions, and related services to clients in the power sector.- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business objectives.- Establish and maintain long-term client relationships with utilities, consultants, and industrial customers.- Present product portfolios effectively and demonstrate their technical and business value.- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales operations.- Provide market insights and identify new business opportunities.Required Skills:- Proven experience in sales of pre-packaged products or services in the electrical power domain.- Strong ability to communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.- Track record of achieving sales targets and delivering measurable business results.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across business and technical levels.- Knowledge of power system simulation software will be an added advantage.Soft Skills:- Excellent verbal and written communication.- Strong team player with collaborative working style.- Analytical, creative, and confident with strong presentation abilities.- Self-initiated, proactive, and adaptable to challenging environments.- Comfortable working across different cultures and under pressure.- Effective persuasion and negotiation skills.- Willingness to travel frequently (50–70%).
