Key responsibilities: Design and planning: Create and review detailed ELV system designs, specifications, and technical documentation. Interpret project requirements and plan system integration. Project management: Oversee projects from conception to completion, managing timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors. Installation and commissioning: Supervise the installation and commissioning of ELV systems, ensuring they function correctly and meet project requirements. Troubleshooting and maintenance: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, conduct regular system checks, and perform maintenance. Quality and compliance: Ensure all work complies with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Implement quality control processes. Team leadership: Mentor and guide junior engineers and technicians. Manage and lead technical teams on site. Documentation and reporting: Prepare and present technical reports, project documentation, and progress updates. Required skills and qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics engineering is often required. Significant experience in ELV system design, installation, and maintenance. Proficiency in ELV systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarms, and structured cabling. Strong technical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lead projects and manage a team.
