Job Summary:Model Validation: This role involves performing thorough quantitative model validation/review.The goal is to provide a comprehensive challenge throughout the model validation/review process.Present findings and observations identified from the validation/review in a clear, concise manner.Prepare detailed, accurate validation reports and memos.Participate in internal audits and regulatory exams to ensure compliance with industry standards.Act as an expert on modeling techniques and risk management practices to support the development of effective models.Responsibilities:Lead independent validations and reviews of risk models to identify areas for improvement.Verify that models are functioning as intended and comply with relevant regulatory requirements.Identify, measure, and report risks to senior management to inform strategic decision-making.Requirements:A Master's degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience is required.Hands-on experience in statistical and AI/ML model development or validation is necessary.Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or SAS is essential.Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively present findings and recommendations.Knowledge of model risk management policies and procedures is crucial for success in this role.
