Bakery Operations SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bakery Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our Bakery Shop.The successful candidate will produce, quality and presentation of bread assortment for daily menus, meeting company standards and expectations.They will assist the Head Baker with production forecasts and leftovers management, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing waste.In addition, they will assist in setting up bread display at buffets, maintaining high standards of presentation and visual appeal.The Bakery Operations Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining United States Public Health rules and regulations, adhering to strict food safety and hygiene protocols.They will clean the bakery shop according to Executive Chef's schedule, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment.Furthermore, they will prepare the bakery for USPH inspections, demonstrating compliance with regulatory requirements.The role involves requisitioning and transporting necessary items from main stores, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.The Bakery Operations Specialist will also ensure recipes and yields meet company standards, conducting regular quality checks and implementing improvements as needed.Additionally, they will assist the CDP Baker with daily consumption re-cap, providing valuable insights and data-driven recommendations.This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to our culinary operations.Requirements:A minimum of three years' experience as a Baker in an upscale hotel/resort/cruise ship/convention banqueting service (shipboard experience preferred).Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques/equipment use, with a strong emphasis on maintaining a clean and safe working environment.Completion of high school/basic education equivalency required, with a focus on developing strong foundation skills in mathematics, science, and communication.About Us:We are a dynamic and innovative organization dedicated to delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
