About the RoleGain hands-on experience in application security as an Information Security Intern specializing in Penetration Testing and Application Security.This 18-month program consists of a complimentary training period followed by a paid internship and potential full-time role consideration.During the unpaid Training Period (12 Months), you'll receive comprehensive guidance and practical exposure to penetration testing, application security, and information security.You'll need to demonstrate your capabilities within this timeframe, with the option to extend for another 6 months if needed.Upon successful completion of the training period, you'll transition to a paid Internship Period (6 Months), working on real-world projects such as security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and report development.Your responsibilities will include:Assisting with Security Assessments: Support professionals in conducting various assessments, including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.Conducting Security Research: Investigate emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, contributing to our knowledge base.Evaluating Tools and Technologies: Compare different tools and technologies, providing recommendations based on their effectiveness.Analyzing Vulnerabilities: Understand the potential impact and exploitability of identified vulnerabilities.Documenting Security Processes: Assist in creating and maintaining security documentation, including reports and presentations.Automating Security Tasks: Explore opportunities to automate security tasks and processes, improving efficiency and scalability.Implementing Secure Coding Practices: Gain hands-on experience with secure coding principles and techniques, applying them to real-world scenarios.Required Skills and Qualifications:Pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Demonstrated interest in application security through projects, coursework, or extracurricular activities.Basic understanding of web technologies and common web frameworks.Familiarity with at least one programming language.Basic understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.About Our OpportunitiesWe offer a dynamic environment that fosters growth and development.
