Job OpportunityThe Security Manager will oversee security operations, ensuring the safety of our assets and personnel. This role involves leading a team to maintain a secure environment across our Bulk Terminal, Coal Handling Plant, Jetty operations, and associated facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity ManagementDirect security teams in implementing effective surveillance measures, including CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and regular patrols.Develop and enforce security protocols for entry/exit procedures, ensuring the integrity of our assets and personnel.Prevent theft, unauthorized access, and damage to company assets.Team LeadershipSupervise and mentor security staff, focusing on discipline, training, and performance improvement.Plan and coordinate security deployments according to operational needs, conducting regular briefings and drills.Compliance & DocumentationMaintain compliance with relevant regulations, including ISPS Code and port security norms.Prepare incident reports, MIS, and other security-related documents.Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are implemented and followed.Emergency Response & Crisis ManagementLead emergency response efforts for fire, medical emergencies, cargo issues, or security breaches.Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability studies, and mock drills to prepare for potential threats.Coordinate with various teams, including Fire & Safety, Marine, Operations, and HSEF.External CoordinationLiaise with local authorities, such as police, CISF, and district administration.Handle investigations, FIRs, and regulatory inspections.Asset Protection & Loss PreventionConduct audits of critical assets, warehouses, coal stockyards, conveyors, and equipment.Monitor high-risk areas, including jetty operations, weighbridges, truck movement, and shift operations.
