Job Title: AI Systems ArchitectDescriptionAs a key member of our team, you will work at the intersection of backend systems and AI orchestration. Your primary responsibility will be designing and implementing sophisticated multi-agent pipelines using frameworks like LangGraph, n8n, and the OpenAI Agent SDK.We are looking for a quick-learning engineer who can architect the next generation of our intelligent backend. This individual will be responsible for building and orchestrating autonomous AI agents that reason, plan, and call tools via LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, or custom logic.You will design retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines (ingestion → embedding → retrieval → synthesis) optimized for multi-modal knowledge bases.You will integrate agents with backend APIs, databases, and workflows (FastAPI, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, etc.).You will create event-driven and streaming architectures using WebSockets and queues for real-time AI responses.You will develop observability and cost tracking systems for long-running or multi-step agent processes.Critical ProjectsSome examples of critical projects include assessing premature babies, predicting suicide, violence, addiction, and recidivism in jails and prisons, identifying PTSD and TBI in front line combat troops, helping homeless organizations identify people who can be helped off the street, discovering new end points for clinical trials, and predicting treatment responses for psychiatry patients.Your Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, you should have strong expertise in backend systems, AI orchestration, and software development. You should also be proficient in programming languages like Python and JavaScript.
