Senior Mortgage UnderwriterThis is a senior-level position in the mortgage underwriting team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in US mortgage underwriting and a strong understanding of FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, and investor guidelines.The candidate should be able to evaluate complete loan documents and make approval or denial decisions based on credit reports, income calculations, collateral reviews, and asset verifications.The candidate should also have excellent communication, presentation skills, and be self-motivated and hardworking.The role involves evaluating evidence of borrower's willingness and ability to repay the obligation and validating and processing loan documents on behalf of a mortgage lender organization.Key Responsibilities:Evaluate complete loan documents and make approval or denial decisionsComplete review of credit report to verify trade lines, derogatory accounts, public records and credit reconciliationThorough income calculation – Salaried income, business income, retired other income and rental incomeComplete review of Collateral and property valuationCredit analysis based on borrower's Income, Asset, Liability and Collateral (4C of Underwriting) to determine the credit worthiness of a customerValidating and processing the Loan documents on behalf a Mortgage lender organization.Evaluating evidence of borrower's willingness and ability to repay the obligation
