Leadership Position: Tax Compliance Specialist The ideal candidate will be regarded as a subject matter expert within their business unit, sharing knowledge with colleagues and contributing to the company's growth.They should demonstrate proficient technical skills, including expertise in tax trends, industries, alternatives, and more.As a trusted advisor, this individual will assume significant client responsibility, identify client issues, and communicate solution options proactively.They will manage staff on engagement deliverables, complete reviews, and supervise team members to ensure quality control standards are met.Key responsibilities also include supervising, training, and mentoring staff, listening, and communicating effectively.The successful candidate will drive team environment, support management decisions, and build a positive culture.Additionally, they will research tax and accounting issues, provide guidance to clients, and strategize with managing directors regarding planning. Required Skills:Minimum 8 years of experience in income tax compliance preparation and review for pass-through entities (1065, 1120S) or U.S. C-Corporation Income Tax Compliance.Strong knowledge of US Federal, State taxes, and International Taxes, as well as issues impacting pass-through entities or C-Corporations.Proficiency in taxation tools, such as CCH, Go-System, or OneSource.Experience working directly with clients and excellent communication skills.Ability to work from onsite and exposure to US Income Tax Research tools.
