Responsibilities:

  • Trade Lifecycle Management: Ensure accurate and timely processing of trades, including trade capture, validation, and settlement.
  • Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliation of trades, positions, and cash across internal and external systems.
  • Data Management: Use Python, SQL, and Bash scripts to automate and enhance reporting, reconciliation, and operational processes.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve discrepancies or breaks in trade processing, collaborating with trading, technology, and counterparties.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements, generating accurate reports as needed.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and implement automation and optimization strategies to improve workflows.


Requirements

  • Experience: 1-5 years in a back-office or related role in trading, banking, or financial services.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Bash. Hands-on experience with data handling and automation scripts is essential.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with an ability to analyze and interpret large datasets.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with teams across multiple time zones.
  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to work the night shift and be physically present in the Bengaluru office five days a week.
