Our first product is a smart crib for babies from 0 to 24 months of age.
Cradlewise smart crib comes with an integrated baby monitor that senses early signs of wakeup, learns from the baby’s sleep patterns and starts rocking along with music to soothe the baby back to sleep - just like a mom

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Product Quality Manager to lead our product quality initiatives and ensure that our product meets the highest standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product quality management, a passion for technology, and a commitment to driving excellence throughout the product life cycle. You will oversee all aspects of product quality, from development to manufacturing, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Strategy Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives.
- Product Quality Assurance: Oversee the entire product lifecycle, ensuring quality requirements are met at each stage, from design and development to manufacturing and distribution.
- Quality Control: Establish and maintain robust quality control processes, including incoming inspections, process inspections, and final product testing.
- Root Cause Analysis and Resolution: Lead investigations into quality issues, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective and preventive actions to eliminate future occurrences.
- Supplier Quality Management: Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring they meet stringent quality standards. Conduct supplier audits and evaluations.
- Customer Experience Focus: Analyze customer feedback and product performance data to identify trends, making recommendations for product enhancements and quality improvements.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential quality risks throughout the product life cycle, implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics to monitor product quality performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers and inspectors, fostering a culture of quality excellence.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, CE, FCC, RoHS).
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 6-7 years of experience in product quality within the consumer electronics or technology industry. Experience in mechanical systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and techniques.
- Experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Mandatory Skills
- Certification in Six Sigma (e.g., Green Belt, Black Belt).
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Knowledge of reliability engineering and testing methods.
- Proven track record of successfully leading product quality initiatives and improving quality metrics.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong attention to detail.
You must have the below basic requirements:
- BTech/Masters in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics engineering.
- 6+ years of experience in leading quality function in the previous role
(Manufacturing quality / Product quality)
