A Senior Data Scientist in Data Governance Execution Team is responsible for ensuring execution of the Data Lineage activities can be automated end to end using NLP and other techniques and make the process balanced while adopting to the changing environment and technology. They work closely with the Key internal stakeholders and with architects of DBORs and with tooling development teams to be able to optimally architect Governance process and automate for sustainability.ROLE SUMMARY:As a Senior Data Engineer within the Data Governance Execution team, you will collaborate closely with the wider Data Trust team and key divisional stakeholders to develop required algorithms overall data governance process and deliver data trust objectives. You will be responsible for capturing requirements, delivering automation working with wider team and stakeholders to create a balanced tech environment for D&A datasets. This person will own the back-end architecture of our Snowflake environment, contribute to data lineage modelling using Solidatus, and collaborate cross-functionally to support our enterprise data platform and analytics initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the Data Trust Snowflake data warehouse design, architecture, and optimization.Design and maintain data models using Solidatus for lineage and governance tracking.Develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load large volumes of data from systems like Workday, Jira, and other enterprise sources.Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and support their analytics needs via Power BI, Power Apps, and other Microsoft tools.Write efficient and maintainable code using Python for data processing and automation.Contribute to data quality, governance, and metadata management processes.Operate within and contribute to a cloud-native environment, preferably with Azure or AWS.Required Skills and Experience5+ years of overall experience in data engineering or software engineering roles.2–4 years of hands-on Snowflake experience (including performance tuning, security, roles & access controls).Proficiency with SQL, Python, and data integration techniques.Experience working with Solidatus or other data lineage/data governance tools.Familiarity with Workday, Jira, Power BI, and Power Apps.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and data platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and documentation.Preferred QualificationsExposure to data cataloguing, metadata management, or compliance reporting.Experience in Agile methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.Certifications in Snowflake, Azure, AWS, or Microsoft Power Platform are a plus.Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldFamiliarity with data security and privacy concernsJoin us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
