Job Title:Network Storage EngineerJob Description:Niksun, a leader in network and service security, protection, and management, is seeking a Network Storage Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role focuses on the development, deployment, and maintenance of highly available, scalable storage and container orchestration systems.Design, implement, and maintain distributed storage systems including Ceph, ZFS, and NFS for use across hybrid and cloud-native environments.Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to storage, networking, and container orchestration systems.Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for infrastructure using tools like Prometheus.Collaborate with development and SRE teams to ensure seamless CI/CD and infrastructure reliability.Participate in on-call rotation and incident response.Document architectural decisions, standard operating procedures, and best practices.Required Skills and Qualifications:To be successful in this role, candidates should have 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or Cloud Infrastructure roles. Proficient knowledge of Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration is also required. Additionally, solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning is necessary.Proficient with Ceph (RADOS, RBD, CephFS) and ZFS administration.Solid experience managing NFS servers and performance tuning.Preferred knowledge of Kubernetes internals, networking, and cluster lifecycle management.Experience with container runtimes (Docker, containerd), Helm, etc.Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
