Key ResponsibilitiesLead Engineering Team: Direct and guide a high-performing engineering team to design, develop, troubleshoot, and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.Strategic Leadership: Provide leadership, direction, and strategy to the team and organization to meet business objectives.As a senior manager of software development, you will be responsible for leading the engineering team and working with architects to identify and deliver new features and operate the service at massive scale.Key qualifications include experience delivering and operating large-scale, highly available distributed systems, strong knowledge of C, C++, or Java, and experience with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, etc.The ideal candidate will have a passion for taking on big challenges and a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.10+ years experience delivering and operating large scale, highly available distributed systemsExperience in delivery of features or service in Storage domain is preferred. Cloud experience is an added plusStrong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentalsWorking familiarity with databases and standard network architecturesDemonstrate success mentoring and growing junior engineers to senior levelsExcellent verbal and written skills
