Incident Response Specialist Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Incident Response Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru. The role involves managing major incidents, ensuring they are logged and resolved within the scope of the Service Level Agreement.Managing major incidents and driving them efficiently on both Bridge call and Chat platforms.Issuing communications during the progress of a major incident to keep stakeholders informed.Identifying optimal timelines and targets for recovery actions, feedback, and communications to minimize business impact.Evaluating incident severity levels and assessing business impact to ensure appropriate escalation occurs.Ensuring that internal and third-party escalation processes are followed as needed.Highlighting potential risks and issues identified during major incidents to inform recovery actions.Evaluating recovery plans to ensure effective resolution of incidents.Suggesting workarounds and methods to accelerate incident recovery and minimize downtime.Continuously reviewing engagement during recovery and identifying additional support teams or individuals who can enhance the response or be stood down as necessary.The ideal candidate will possess 4-6 years of experience in incident management and a proven track record of success. They should be a strong communicator and problem solver with excellent analytical skills.This role offers an annual salary range of INR 3,500,000 - 5,250,000 (approximately USD 45,000 - 68,000). The job requires full-time remote work, allowing employees to work from anywhere with internet access.
