Job Title: Steel Fabrication Operations LeaderJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabrication Operations Leader to oversee the manufacturing of heavy steel components, including boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, and large fabricated assemblies.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in heavy steel fabrication and a proven track record of managing workshop operations, ensuring compliance with international standards, and delivering high-quality fabrication for industrial and oil & gas projects.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily manufacturing operations, prioritizing efficiency and quality control.Ensure adherence to ASME Section I & VIII, API standards, and project specifications.Manage welding activities, including thick materials, heavy plates, and high-pressure components.Lead a team of welders, fabricators, supervisors, and machine operators, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.Develop production schedules, allocate manpower and equipment, and optimize workflow for large components.Coordinate quality inspections, NDT activities, PWHT, hydrotesting, and documentation.Implement safety protocols, ISO practices, and Lean/5S methodologies to enhance efficiency and minimize waste.Collaborate closely with engineering, planning, procurement, and QA/QC teams to drive project success.RequirementsDegree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.8–12+ years of experience in heavy steel/boiler/pressure vessel fabrication.Strong knowledge of ASME codes, welding processes, WPS/PQR, and NDT.Experience managing workshops in Saudi Arabia or GCC preferred.Excellent leadership and coordination skills.What We OfferCompetitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.Opportunities for long-term career growth and professional development.A dynamic and supportive work environment.
