• Position Title – Factory Head
• Location – Roorkee (Uttarakhand)
• Total Experience – 18-22 Years
• Qualification – BE (Full Time Education is compulsory, Diploma & Distance Learning will be not considered)
• Reporting to the Chief Manufacturing Head (CMO)
• Direct Reporting – Yes (8 Direct Reports)
• Languages Known- English, Hindi
• Industry- FMCD/Small Appliances /Auto (Tier 1) /Auto Ancillary & Our Competitors.

Key Responsibilities-

Planning:

• Leading plant operations and team to deliver desired production output seamlessly on a regular basis to achieve and exceed objectives, KPIs, and expectations
• Ensuring focus on Quality. Improve and Establish sustainable Quality processes
• Collaborating with other functional Heads to ensure Inventory, Quality, Sales Revenue and Cost Objectives are well supported and met
• Supporting the team for new product development

Cost of production:

• Meeting material usage, manpower usage, inventory costs, personnel costs and overhead budgets

Quality:

• Ensuring all the prescribed permits and quality standards are maintained on the raw materials, packing materials, products, and plant

Material procurement and management:

• Ensuring maintenance of material supplies is without any loss of production. Inventories to be maintained as per the budget

Industrial relations:

• Maintaining peace and good industrial relations for uninterrupted production.
• Conducting periodic reviews with department heads at the plant. Conducting gap analysis and improving the processes wherever necessary
• Finalizing and implementing the long-term settlement plan

Legal and statutory compliance:

• Ensuring the management and statutory compliance of unit-related regulatory issues in terms of Excise, Provident Fund, Pollution Control Board and other relevant authorities

People Performance & Development:

• Identifying and developing young talent for future leadership and succession plan
• Implementing the feedback & review process throughout the plant and deciding the departmental KRAs
• Providing technical suggestions on improving productivity, reducing rejections defects/scrap and improving costs etc. at the shop floor
• Providing training and development programs whenever required in order to enhance the ability of the workers

Efficiency parameters:

• Managing efficiency parameters in capacity utilization
• Ensuring reduction in wastage.

Remarks-

• Exposure to handling Profit & Loss for Plants is a must.
• Exposure to Stamping (Press Shop) & Assembly Line is necessary.
• Please look for stable candidate (Frequent Job Changes will not be considered)
• Looking for candidates from the nearby area
• Overall span control should be Approx 350 to 400 HC.
• Team handling experience is a must (On Roll & Workmen Category).
• Exposure to Mass Production is compulsory.
• Working experience in a unionized factory is compulsory
• Looking for a mature candidate having the ability to manage complex situations and continue to enhance high efficiency.
