
Senior Sales and Outreach Professional

We are looking for an experienced professional to strengthen our verticals covering Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and Schools in India. The role involves driving business development, managing key relationships with universities, colleges, and schools, supporting the adoption of our rating systems. The position requires a strong understanding of the education landscape and the ability to work closely with academic stakeholders to deliver growth and impact. Key Responsibilities Contribute to and execute the sales strategy, in alignment with the organization’s objectives. Work with a team of business development and sales professionals to expand outreach across universities, colleges, schools and academic bodies. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers and senior institutional stakeholders. Manage the end-to-end sales process, including client engagement, presentations, negotiations, and deal closures. Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to ensure successful onboarding and long-term client satisfaction. Use CRM and analytics tools to forecast sales opportunities, track progress, and provide insights. Stay updated on education sector trends, competitor activities, and client needs to refine sales approaches. Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance visibility and engagement. Key Performance Metrics Achievement of revenue targets and business growth in the Higher Education vertical. Strong and sustainable sales pipeline. Effective partnerships and high levels of client satisfaction. Positive contribution to team performance and overall market presence. Qualifications 15+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the education sector. Strong track record of handling institutional clients and delivering results in a competitive environment. Good understanding of the Indian Education ecosystem and key academic stakeholders. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining focus on outcomes. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales data analysis. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 70%) across India. Degree in business management, Education, or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
