Job Title: Site Engineer - Office InteriorsWe are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Site Engineer.About the RoleMaintain site records and documentation to ensure compliance and efficient project management.Conduct site inspections to assess conditions, identify potential challenges, and gather information necessary for project planning and execution.Interpret architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and other technical documents to guarantee accurate implementation of design plans and specifications.Prepare comprehensive reports detailing site activities, progress updates, issues encountered, and recommended solutions for review by project stakeholders.Create accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, and other project expenses to support budgeting and cost control efforts.Implement and enforce quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that construction activities meet specified standards and project requirements.Review and authorize technical drawings and engineering plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, design specifications, and industry best practices.Evaluate project feasibility, considering technical, financial, and logistical factors, and provide recommendations for approval or modification to project plans.Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment for all site personnel and guarantee compliance with health and safety standards.Monitor project costs and variations, tracking expenses, identifying deviations from the budget, and implementing corrective measures as necessary to maintain cost control.Foster effective communication and coordination among project team members, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.Analyze site operations and processes to identify opportunities for improvement, streamline workflows, and optimize resource utilization.Provide support to the project management team by coordinating site activities, resolving issues, and addressing project-related concerns in a timely manner.Pursue technical activities as required, including site surveys, measurements, material testing, and construction supervision, to ensure project quality and progress.Assist in the management of site personnel, subcontractors, and resources to achieve project objectives within specified timelines and budget constraints.Be willing to travel to project sites as required to oversee construction activities, attend meetings, and liaise with stakeholders.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in the construction industry.Proficiency in interpreting drawings, preparing reports, and developing cost estimates.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to work on various projects, develop your skills, and grow professionally.OthersPlease note that this job description may be subject to change based on business needs.
