Experience the opportunity to lead a team and shape the architecture of our cutting-edge production platform. As Technical Director / Head of Generative Engineering, you will oversee the design and operation of high-scale systems that combine AI models, media pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.The role requires hands-on experience with Python or TypeScript, cloud platforms (GCP/AWS), containers, queues, and microservices. You will also work closely with production and creative stakeholders to translate requirements into robust, repeatable pipelines.Key Responsibilities:Design and own the architecture of our generative production platform: APIs, workflow engine, model gateway, render orchestration, and asset/metadata systems.Lead and mentor a team of pipeline engineers, tools engineers, and ML engineers; define coding standards and best practices.Integrate external AI services (e.g., Veo, Kling, Runway) into a single coherent system.Requirements:8–12+ years building production-grade systems, including 3+ years leading small, senior teams.Strong experience with media/VFX/animation or real-time engines (Unreal, Blender, Nuke, Resolve).Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and creative stakeholders.Achieve Success in this Role:You have experience designing and operating large-scale systems that manage intensive media, GPU, or distributed workloads.You can bridge engineering, creators, and product teams effectively.Ideal Candidate Profile:An ideal candidate has expertise in scalable platform thinking and an understanding of creative production workflows. They have experience working with industries such as VFX, animation, post-production, gaming, or real-time 3D.
