Senior Tax Associate Job Description:A high-performing Senior Tax Associate will join our esteemed tax team to provide critical support to financial operations, contributing to tax compliance and the delivery of accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing U.S. federal and state tax returns (1065, 1120S, 1120) for general contractors, subcontractors, and developers, analyzing percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methods, performing multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determination, handling depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assets, assisting in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differences, communicating with U.S. engagement teams to resolve open items, experience with clients that receive government grants, and familiarity with Schedule A (public support test) and UBIT issues. Required Skills and Qualifications:Experience with U.S. tax compliance and reporting, including preparation and review of federal and state tax returnsStrong knowledge of taxation laws and regulations, particularly regarding percentage-of-completion and completed-contract methodsFamiliarity with Schedule A (public support test) and UBIT issuesExcellent communication and analytical skills, with ability to resolve complex tax issuesProficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel Benefits:This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Others:This is a full-time position, requiring regular attendance at work and availability to travel occasionally.
